Where can I camp within Grand Staircase National Monument?
There are 2 developed campgrounds (Calf Creek and Deer Creek) within the monument, as well as a handful of primitive and backcountry campsites. You will need a free backcountry permit if you plan to enjoy dispersed or backcountry campsites. These are easily acquired at a visitor center. Call the main visitor center at 435-826-5499 for questions on permits and reservations. Here is more information on the two developed campgrounds within the monument:
Calf Creek Campground
