Overview

The Piute Reservoir was created in 1908 with the building of a dam on the Sevier River and the water is used mainly for irrigation. This primitive park is a quiet getaway offering good fishing, ATVing, boating and camping

Location and Information

12 miles from Marysvale. From I-70 take exit 23 to Hwy 89. Head south 20 miles and turn left at park sign.

Fishing

The Piute reservoir provides trophy fishing for rainbow, cutthroat and brown trout and smallmouth bass. Other watersports include waterskiing, jetskiing and wakeboarding.

ATV/OHV Riding

The park offers access to the 900-mile long Paiute Trail System.
